ServiceNow in Santa Clara is seeking a software engineer to join the Dev-Access Visibility team within Platform Security Core. You will design, implement, and ship features for Access Analyzer on the Now Platform, from design through release, and work with ACLs, roles, and access evaluation to deliver accurate insights.

You will own features end to end, contribute to quality with tests and reviews, collaborate across Product, QE, Release Management, and other Platform Security teams, and apply

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases, including strong SQL skills (queries, joins, indexing) and MySQL
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs and server-side application logic
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD practices
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to explain technical decisions to peers and stakeholders
• Demonstrated ownership: takes work from ambiguity to delivery

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and ship features for Access Analyzer on the Now Platform, from design through release
• Work with platform security constructs such as ACLs, roles, and access evaluation to deliver accurate, performant access insights
• Own features end to end: design, implementation, testing, documentation, and production support
• Contribute to quality: unit and automated tests, code reviews, defect triage, and release readiness
• Collaborate with Product, QE, Release Management, and other Platform Security teams
• Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve productivity while maintaining code quality
• Mentor peers through design discussions and code reviews
