Job summary

Veeam invites you to join as a Platform, Security & AI Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in San Jose, CA. You will contribute to backend development in Go, explore AI agent development, and strengthen security tooling within a Kubernetes/AWS environment under senior engineers.

The 10–12 week Summer Internship runs June through August 2027 and targets rising juniors or seniors pursuing a Bachelor's degree or graduate studies.

Qualifications

• Rising junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or a graduate student in an accredited college or university.
• Ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment; must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Backend & Infrastructure: Write backend code and automation in Go within a large production-grade codebase, deploying containerized apps on Kubernetes and AWS (EKS, ECR, IAM).
• AI & Agent Development: Build long-running agents for Securiti AI + Veeam platforms for CISOs and security analysts, including automated breach impact analysis and data access auditing.
