Cloudflare in Austin, TX is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the Production Platform Organization. You will build the infrastructure necessary to collect, store, and make reliability data easily accessible for monitoring across the company.

This role focuses on creating robust reliability tooling and scalable visibility to keep services healthy in a high‑demand environment. The position requires experience with distributed systems, SLOs/SLIs, and collaboration with product managers and Site

Competenze

• Proven track record as a software engineer or similar role with a deep understanding of distributed systems.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and highly-available distributed systems.
• Programming experience with one of the following languages: Go, Rust, or Python.
• Deep understanding and hands-on experience measuring uptime metrics using SLOs/SLIs.

• Build the Platform: Create and maintain production reliability testing infrastructure and availability reporting.
• Define Reliability Metrics: Measure uptime metrics like correctness, availability, and latency SLIs/SLOs.
