Job summary

Vanguard Charitable is seeking an Operations Analyst to strengthen reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of technology services in a data-driven operating model.

You will collaborate with service owners, engineering teams, vendors, and the IT Service Management & Support Lead to reduce operational risk, strengthen disaster recovery readiness, and automate repetitive activities using Microsoft Copilot and Claude.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related discipline required; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Training or coursework related to systems administration, cloud technologies, platform operations, automation, reliability engineering, AI, or IT operations preferred.
• Microsoft, AWS, ITIL, observability/monitoring, automation, cybersecurity, AI, or related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate health, availability, performance, and reliability; develop monitoring, alerting, dashboards, observability practices, and operational reporting.
• Support incident triage, troubleshooting, investigation, and service restoration with engineering teams, vendors, and service owners.
• Develop and improve runbooks, recovery procedures, resilience validation, and readiness standards.
• Leverage Copilot, Claude, automation tools, scripting, and workflows to improve productivity and knowledge management.
• Support disaster recovery, resilience testing, capacity planning, and continuity efforts.
• Provide Help Desk coverage, assist with escalation triage, maintain knowledge, and support during high-demand periods.
• Maintain operational documentation and participate in special projects and improvement initiatives.
