Job summary

Kunai, a fintech solutions partner, seeks a Product leader to own credit decisioning, fulfillment, and acquisitions for its Personal Loans platform, building backend services and scalable distributed systems.

You will guide scrum teams, translate lending requirements into specs, collaborate with risk/compliance, and align stakeholders on data-informed decisions to drive growth and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience leading backend services and distributed systems.
• Banking or financial services experience in credit/lending is a strong plus.
• Experience leading scrum teams with backlog ownership.
• Understanding of AWS and its impact on product decisions.
• Engineering background helpful, but not required; comfort with technical detail.
• Strong stakeholder management across business, risk and engineering.
• Clear, collaborative communicator comfortable with ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap for credit decisioning, fulfillment, and acquisitions.
• Define requirements for backend services and scalable platforms.
• Partner with engineering to design platform-based products.
• Lead scrum teams through planning, backlog, and ceremonies.
• Translate lending requirements into actionable specs.
• Align on decisioning logic with risk and compliance.
• Prioritize backlog balancing new capabilities with reliability.
• Communicate roadmap and decisions clearly to stakeholders.
