Job summary

UpNext in New York is seeking a Product Manager to own strategy and execution for the transfer portal intelligence platform used by college coaches nationwide, shaping the roadmap with UpNext leadership and partnering with ScopeLabs to deliver features.

You will lead product interviews, write specs, coordinate with engineering, manage releases, QA, and data coverage to strengthen data integrity and platform impact.

Qualifications

• Document and organize feedback and feature requests from coaches, internal stakeholders, and platform usage data.
• Own the UpNext feature roadmap end-to-end: prioritization, sequencing, and communicating status to leadership.
• Write clear, detailed product specs (requirements, user journeys, technical specs) in partnership with ScopeLabs.
• Partner with ScopeLabs' engineering team to shepherd features from spec through launch across core platform surfaces.
• Conduct QA testing on new releases to ensure high-quality deliverables before they reach coaches.

Responsibilities

• Product Development: gather feedback, interviews with customers, own roadmap and specs.
• Stakeholder & Team Management: communicate timelines, triage feedback, represent customer voice.
• Process & Operations: own weekly release cycle, sprint planning, bug triage, process improvements.
• Growth Path: shadow meetings, own communications, and drive independence in delivery.
