Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a mid-level Software Developer to modernize a large-scale GrantSolutions portfolio in a Virginia-based role. You will build cloud-hosted services, integrate AI capabilities, and ensure secure, governed access across legacy and new systems.

You will collaborate with Solution Architects, Product Owners, and Federal stakeholders, delivering incremental modernization while maintaining business continuity and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 5–8 years in software development.
• Experience engineering AI-enabled applications using foundation-model APIs and AI services.
• Proficiency in one or more modern languages (Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#/.NET, Go) and RESTful API development.

Responsibilities

• Modernize grant solutions portfolio with phased, low-risk delivery.
• Build cloud-hosted services and production-ready AI capabilities.
• Develop interoperable data layer across legacy and modern systems.
• Ensure secure authentication, authorization, encryption, and governance.
• Collaborate with Architects, Product Owners, and Federal stakeholders during modernization.
