Job summary

Optomi, in partnership with a leading financial institution, is seeking a Tech Delivery Manager to join the team in Charlotte, NC. You will manage a large-scale technology platform migration, coordinate across two core teams, and drive continuous improvement while enabling delivery success.

The role emphasizes stakeholder management, Scrum Master-like responsibilities, and eventual conversion to a full-time employee within a collaborative, autonomous environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management and/or scrum master experience.
• Strong technical project management experience in Agile environments.
• Experience with Kanban or Scrum.
• Experience coaching teams and improving delivery processes.
• Proven track record of measurable results and outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience managing change and navigating ambiguity.
• Jira and Confluence experience preferred.
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude or Copilot is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a large-scale technology platform migration.
• Coordinate across teams to ensure initiatives remain on track.
• Support and enable two core technology teams.
• Conduct regular check-ins to identify blockers and keep work progressing.
• Take on Scrum Master-type responsibilities, including facilitating effective team processes.
• Coach teams and individuals to improve collaboration, delivery, and overall effectiveness.
• Drive continuous improvement and process enhancements.
• Manage stakeholder communication and organizational change effectively.
• Provide timely reporting on project progress, outcomes, and risks.
