Job summary

First Quality is seeking a Platform Manager for Nutek Disposables in McElhattan, PA. You will lead platform production control, coordinate with Planning, Quality, and Engineering, and drive safety and GMP compliance on the production floor.

The role requires a strong manufacturing background and leadership experience. The ideal candidate has a degree in a related field and 3–5 years in a supervisory/technical function, with hands-on knowledge of production management, scheduling, and inventory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, engineering, or related manufacturing field.
• 3–5 years of supervisory or advanced technical experience.
• Experience in production management and inventory control, scheduling, and planning.
• ISO/FDA experience preferred.
• Knowledge of MRP, TQC, and CRP.
• OSHA regulations knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee platform production control activities to ensure efficient material flow and production plans.
• Manage Production Supervisors and technical staff; conduct appraisals and evaluations.
• Interface with Planning, Quality, Engineering, Human Resources, Cost Accounting, and IT.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards; ensure GMP compliance.
• Plan and schedule production machines; allocate staff for upcoming lines and shifts.
• Document manufacturing processes and GMP adherence; support product specs and packaging requests.
