Job summary

Patagonia is seeking a Senior Platform Manager for VLP and PLM to own health and evolution of critical platforms across Ventura, CA or Reno, NV. The role combines hands-on platform design with strategic governance to drive performance, reliability, and scalable data flows in a mission-driven technology environment.

You will lead cross-functional collaboration, establish documentation standards, and guide release governance while ensuring alignment with product creation and marketing

Qualifications

• 6+ years of platform management, systems administration, or platform operations experience in enterprise contexts.
• Experience establishing enterprise documentation standards, metrics, traceability, and compliance for platforms.
• Proven ability to drive platform performance analysis and cross-functional optimization for scalability and reliability.
• Experience leading cross-functional incident management and root cause analysis to improve platform stability.
• Knowledge of enterprise release management, governance, automation, and continuous delivery.

Responsibilities

• Drive VLP and PLM platform optimization and best practices to improve quality and performance.
• Lead end-to-end platform enablement including documentation and user training.
• Oversee enterprise documentation standards for configuration and integration roadmaps.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and translate needs into actionable priorities.
• Lead incident management and systemic improvements for platform stability and uptime.
• Own release governance and readiness across VLP and PLM platforms, with automation focus.
