Job summary
Jobtailor seeks a senior technology leader to own and advance the New Business & Underwriting platform, overseeing roadmap, stability, and regulatory alignment. You will drive AI-enabled capabilities, vendor evaluations, and modernization efforts while leading cross-functional teams and delivering measurable business value.

Qualifications
- 10 to 15+ years of technology leadership for enterprise platforms.
- 3 to 5+ years leading cross-functional teams.
- Experience in life insurance platform domains.
- Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.
- Experience applying Agile in regulated environments.
- Ability to communicate platform value and health in business terms.
- Knowledge of data governance and AI in underwriting.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute New Business & Underwriting platform roadmap.
- Lead platform stability, evolution, delivery outcomes, and health.
- Advance capabilities, reduce complexity, AI capabilities, faster cycles.
- Evaluate platforms, vendors, and innovations for efficiency.
- Develop modernization roadmaps to reduce technical debt.
- Support governed data assets for underwriting decisions.
- Lead planning and execution of platform initiatives and regulatory changes.
- Apply Agile delivery practices.
- Monitor performance, availability, incidents, and health.
- Define and track platform KPIs.
- Drive automation and observability.
- Provide executive-ready updates.
