Job summary

Plymouth Rock Assurance in Boston seeks a Manager, Customer Communications & Data Operations to lead a Salesforce Marketing Cloud-driven program across email, SMS, mobile, and web. You’ll own architecture, data governance, delivery processes, and the product roadmap.

You’ll manage a team including a technical lead, SFMC developers, QA, and creative; shape the team’s future, partner with Legal and Security, and present the architecture to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years working in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or a comparable enterprise communications platform.
• Enough technical depth to lead technical people credibly; read a solution design and judge its soundness.
• Experience owning a marketing technology or customer communications roadmap.
• Evidence of connecting communications work to business results (acquisition, conversion, retention).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, governance, integrations, release process, and security posture for Marketing Cloud.
• Define intake, prioritization, QA, and release governance for team deliverables.
• Oversee data intake, validation, transformation, segmentation, and activation; manage consent and suppression.
• Define the platform vision, backlog, and delivery plan with cross‑functional leadership.
• Lead and develop a team across onshore and offshore capacity, shaping the function.
