Job summary

First Resonance in Los Angeles seeks an experienced integration specialist to own customer integrations end-to-end—from discovery and architecture to go-live and ongoing operation. You will sometimes write code, and other times guide internal engineers or external partners.

You will build reusable connectors and reference architectures to accelerate future work. You will collaborate with Forward Deployed Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, Product, and Engineering, translating customer needs

Qualifications

• 6+ years in customer-facing or delivery-oriented engineering roles with production code experience.
• Experience taking a complex enterprise integration from initial discussion to production.
• Deep knowledge of API-based integration (REST/GraphQL, webhooks, auth, async processing, data transformation).
• Ability to sit with a customer’s manufacturing or IT team, interpret vague processes, and produce a scoped technical plan.
• Clear written and spoken communication to explain architectures, tradeoffs, and risks to engineers and executives.

Responsibilities

• Own customer integrations end-to-end: discovery, architecture, estimation, build, test, go-live, documentation, and handoff.
• Translate how customers manage parts, BOMs, POs, receipts, inventory, work orders, quality, and engineering changes into production-ready designs.
• Decide when to implement directly vs. reuse connectors or involve partners; scope work and set acceptance criteria.
• Ensure production reliability: monitoring, retries, reconciliation, auditability, incident response for integrations.
• Create reusable connectors, reference architectures, test harnesses, runbooks, and documentation.
• Identify recurring gaps in APIs, eventing, and data models; collaborate with Product and Engineering to close them.
