Job summary

SpaceXSI seeks engineers to design and build a world-class distributed system powering one of the planet's largest AI training clusters. You will dive into the low-level stack, profiling and optimizing performance across GPUs, Linux kernel, networking, and file systems.

Collaborate across hardware, software, and algorithm co-design to push AI capabilities while maintaining a scalable, reliable codebase and building tools to boost team productivity.

Qualifications

• Systems programming in C, C++, or Rust.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience, cluster/Ni networking/storage/CI.
• Strong OS fundamentals and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and run a large-scale distributed system for a top AI/ML cluster.
• Profile, debug, and optimize across GPUs, Linux kernel, networking, and filesystems.
• Collaborate on hardware/software/algorithm co-design for scalable AI training.
• Maintain and improve codebase for scalability and reliability.
• Develop tools to improve team productivity and workflows.
