Job summary

Ascendco is seeking a Platform Specialist embedded at Johns Hopkins Hospital (JHH) in Baltimore to drive implementation, adoption, and sustainment of the Ascendco platform. You will serve as the Ascendco representative, enabling surgical teams with data-driven tools and insights to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Sterile Processing (SPD) or Surgical Services.
• Proven experience in project management, implementation, or technical support within surgical services.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities to engage clients and teammates.
• Detail-oriented and results-driven mindset in dynamic, high-pressure environments.
• Optional: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and sustainment of the Ascendco platform across Johns Hopkins Hospital (JHH) facilities.
• Coordinate and manage project plans, including go-live readiness, milestones, and performance reporting.
• Support data integrity through cleansing, validation, and monitoring.
• Analyze usage trends and collaborate with JHH stakeholders to drive improvements.
• Deliver user training, support frontline adoption, and reinforce best practices.
• Serve as a liaison between Johns Hopkins Hospital (JHH) and Ascendco, ensuring feedback, coordination, and system optimization.
