Ascendco is seeking a Platform Specialist embedded at Johns Hopkins Hospital (JHH) in Baltimore to drive implementation, adoption, and sustainment of the Ascendco platform. Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Sterile Processing (SPD) or Surgical Services.
• Proven experience in project management, implementation, or technical support within surgical services.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities to engage clients and teammates.
• Detail-oriented and results-driven mindset in dynamic, high-pressure environments.
• Optional: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.

About the Role

Ascendco is seeking a Platform Specialist to be fully embedded at Johns Hopkins Hospital (JHH). In this role, you’ll serve as a dedicated Ascendco representative, driving the successful implementation, adoption, and sustainment of the Ascendco platform. This role is central to our mission of enabling high-performing surgical teams and improving patient outcomes through data-driven tools and insights.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the implementation and sustainment of the Ascendco platform across Johns Hopkins Hospital (JHH) facilities.
• Coordinate and manage project plans, including go-live readiness, milestones, and performance reporting.

Ideal Background

• Standard hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with flexibility for evenings/weekends if needed).
• Combination of onsite and remote work depending on project needs.
• Workspace provided onsite, with access to required departments, scrubs, and clinical attire in line with infection-prevention policies.
• Full-time Ascendco employee with two (2) weeks PTO annually (per Ascendco HR policies).
• PTO requests require approval from both Ascendco and Johns Hopkins Hospital (JHH) leadership.
• Full compliance with Ascendco workforce policies (confidentiality, conduct, timekeeping).
