Job summary

Ascendco seeks an Associate Implementation Engineer to join our team, working at the intersection of software implementation, support, and education. You will become a go-to technical expert on deploying, configuring, and supporting the Ascendco platform within healthcare environments.

You’ll shadow and collaborate with Client Success Managers, Implementation Specialists, and Software Engineers to support go-lives and complex deployments.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills with a track record of resolving issues.
• Technical curiosity and enthusiasm for understanding how software works behind the scenes.

Responsibilities

• Support the technical implementation of the Ascendco platform, including configuration, deployment, networking, and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Client Success Managers and Implementation Specialists to manage IT workstreams and communicate progress.
• Work directly with hospital IT teams to guide infrastructure, networking, and security requirements during implementations.
• Shadow senior engineers and grow toward independent ownership of technical implementation tasks.
• Assist in investigating and resolving Level 2 and complex technical support issues to protect engineering capacity.
• Troubleshoot platform components and use diagnostic tools to resolve problems.
• Participate in QA and testing of new functionality before deployment.
• Contribute to documentation and educational resources for clients and internal teams.
• Travel to client facilities (~25%) to support go-lives and module deployments.
