Job summary

Reflection is seeking a Platform Foundations Lead to shepherd the foundational cloud and infrastructure layer used by every engineering team. You'll build and mentor a high-performing team of infrastructure engineers, guide multi-cloud, security, and developer tooling decisions, and stay hands-on to contribute as an IC while managing vendor relationships and strategic initiatives for scale.

Qualifications

Experience building, mentoring, and growing infrastructure or platform teams while staying technically hands-on.
Deep infrastructure or platform engineering experience with production-scale systems.
Strong coding ability and credibility to earn technical trust.

Responsibilities

Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of infrastructure and platform engineers.
Provide front-line leadership of the foundational platform, including multi-cloud design, networking, identity and security, and developer tooling.
Stay hands-on enough to contribute as an individual contributor.
Manage day-to-day execution and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
Guide technical and architectural decisions emphasizing scalability, security, and cost predictability; manage vendor relationships.
