Job summary

Reflection is building a foundations platform to accelerate every team by delivering reliable, scalable developer infrastructure, SRE capabilities, and high-throughput data ingestion tooling enabling Reflection to move faster as we scale.

You will define opinionated golden paths for cloud infrastructure, networking, and access patterns to make the safe path easy to follow, while ensuring reliability, security, and cost predictability across services.

Qualifications

• Proven track record shipping production-grade systems.
• Expertise in at least one area (cloud, network, security, or tooling) with working knowledge across the others.
• Experience navigating multi-team environments and building for reliability and scale.
• Bias toward action and impact in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in zero-to-one challenges—building new systems.
• Collaborative, clear communicator across research and infrastructure boundaries.
• Motivated by building secure, self-serve foundation for open-weight AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Define golden paths for cloud projects, networking, and access patterns.
• Ship secure defaults and guardrails that make the safe path the easy path.
• Build and operate core networking primitives including routing, DNS, load balancing, and connectivity.
• Establish baseline observability and operational hygiene across services and infrastructure.
• Own developer infrastructure such as build systems, CI/CD, caching, and test infrastructure to keep engineers shipping fast.
• Drive cloud cost visibility and reduction through tooling, guardrails, and optimization.
