Job summary

State Street is seeking the Head of Developer Platforms & Experience to lead the internal product organisation that designs, builds and operates the paved road for software delivery. You will drive platform strategy, SLOs, and adoption across multiple engineering teams, balancing velocity with security and audit readiness.

This deeply technical leadership role requires hands-on experience building platforms at scale, influencing standards with Enterprise Architecture, Cyber Security and CI/CD

Qualifications

• Proven track record building developer platforms at enterprise scale.
• Experience with secure SDLC, governance and compliance practices.
• Ability to write architecture decisions and drive adoption across teams.
• Strong collaboration with Enterprise Architecture and Cyber Security.

Responsibilities

• Own the DPX strategy, roadmap and delivery across all product areas with platform SLOs.
• Design golden paths and standard templates for production-ready services.
• Unify and govern internal tooling, libraries and CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead and mentor platform engineers and product managers, influencing senior leadership.
