Job summary

State Farm is seeking a Technical Product Owner for its Platform Engineering team to guide CI/CD DevOps workloads in an AWS RedHat OpenShift environment and help build a next-generation delivery platform. You will collaborate with Platform Engineering and Application Development to define features, manage capacity, and shape work intake and execution with Jira/Confluence.

The role emphasizes product vision, backlog prioritization, stakeholder alignment, and clear acceptance criteria.

Qualifications

• Agile methodologies - kanban, scrum.
• Demonstrated experience managing agile delivery using industry standard tooling such as Jira/Confluence.
• Strong learning agility.
• Ability to manage products in various degrees of 'done'.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate many dependencies across the enterprise.
• Experience with software delivery, DevOps, Gitops, Gitlab, and GitHub.
• Great communicator with at least 3 years of Enterprise level product management background.
• Ability to generate Go To Market type marketing materials and messaging.
• Ability to generate Features and Stories for the team.
• Ability to help keep work organized and the team focused during many iterations of ambiguity.
• Ability to generate roadmaps from complex dependency patterns.
