Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Platform Engineer/Application Support Lead to drive production support and enablement across a large AWS enterprise. You will serve as the senior technical bridge between the platform organization and application teams, owning incident response, RCA, and remediation for OpenShift (ROSA) and EKS workloads across AWS Commercial and GovCloud.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years in platform engineering or app ops.
• Strong AWS expertise across EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, EKS, and GovCloud.
• Experience leading production support, incident response, RCA, and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead production application support and incident response end-to-end.
• Develop self-service onboarding using Terraform and GitLab templates.
• Operate OpenShift (ROSA) and EKS across AWS Commercial and GovCloud.
• Enforce security and compliance gates in CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor engineers and set engineering standards.
