Job summary

Apple seeks a senior leader to own the strategy, roadmap, and architectural direction for a server platform engineering team of 11 engineers. You will drive hiring, growth, and a culture of technical excellence while maintaining credibility across architecture decisions.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of building, leading, and growing high-performing software engineering teams.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience, incl. 5+ years in direct people management.
• Deep expertise in designing and operating mission-critical, highly scalable distributed systems.
• Ability to engage in architecture reviews and technical decisions with senior engineers.
• Experience with hiring pipelines, performance management, and inclusive team culture.
• Strong background in security, compliance, and governance for enterprise-scale platform services.
• Track record of influencing cross-functional partners across engineering, product, and operations.
