Job summary

Clarity Innovations in Maryland seeks a Principal Platform Engineer to prototype infrastructure for cyberspace operations, building a platform that spans cloud-native and on-prem environments with scalable architectures and GitOps workflows. You will guide design and implementation to improve productivity and reliability across diverse infrastructure settings.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance (US citizens only).
• BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline; or four years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Ability to collaborate in a team but work independently and adapt in a high-trust environment.
• Experience with modern DevOps practices: CI/CD, IaC, GitOps in production deployments.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate delivery and deployment of operational capabilities.
• Lead design and deployment of Kubernetes-based GitOps pipelines.
• Oversee pipelines with Break-Build SATS and DAST testing.
• Ensure container images are OCI hardened throughout lifecycle.
• Architect scalable, secure cloud infrastructure aligned to product vision.
