Job summary

OneDigital is seeking a Director of Platform Engineering to define and lead the vision for infrastructure platforms, DevOps practices, and InfoSec, building a high-performing team to support these initiatives.

This role focuses on robust cloud infrastructure optimized for performance, scalability, reliability, security, and cost, working with engineering leadership to align strategy with company goals and foster innovation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in engineering, infra, and/or DevOps leadership roles.
• 5+ years of people management experience.
• 7+ years with AWS or GCP, designing and running highly available apps.
• 5+ years of Kubernetes experience.
• 5+ years of Terraform or similar IaC tooling.
• Experience in healthcare tech with HIPAA/HITRUST compliance.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the vision for infrastructure platform, DevOps practices, and InfoSec, and build the team.
• Partner with engineering leadership to drive strategy and execution aligned with company goals.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to teammates.
• Lead technical design discussions on system architecture, best practices, and coding standards.
• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure with performance, scalability, security, and cost in mind.
• Oversee InfoSec strategy for platforms ensuring data/network security and compliance alignment.
• Manage SaaS tools and vendors integrated with core infrastructure.
• Drive automation, instrumentation, logs, metrics, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
