Fieldguide is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager, Platform to lead the foundation that powers our SaaS, enterprise, and government-cloud environments. You will guide a team of ten engineers, shape the platform roadmap, and partner with product, design, AI, and infrastructure to ensure scalable, reliable delivery for enterprise customers.

You will drive platform investments, set standards, and oversee internal developer tooling and deployment capabilities while reporting to the Senior Director

Qualifications

• Ten+ years in software engineering with leadership experience.
• Proven track record building product-facing platforms.
• Experience hiring and developing engineers.
• Strong product instincts and a history of shipping platform capabilities.
• Experience setting technical strategy and roadmaps across multiple teams.
• Fluency with AWS, Kubernetes, and distributed systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsabilités

• Build, lead, and grow a high-performing platform engineering team (10 engineers).
• Set the platform vision and roadmap; prioritize investments across core services.
• Own architecture strategy for product capabilities across SaaS and enterprise environments.
• Translate customer needs into platform investments; decide build vs buy tradeoffs.
• Drive cross-team initiatives to improve velocity, reliability, and consistency.
• Establish standards for service design, data modeling, and integration patterns.
