Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to act as the technical architecture authority for the platforms team, overseeing integration design, security standards, platform governance, and server administration across Alteryx, KNIME, and cloud infrastructure.

The role includes hands-on engineering, Python/PowerShell automation, and mentorship, with a focus on developer experience for LLM tooling and OpenAI/Claude APIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field.
• 3 years of systems, platform, or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Proven automation experience to replace manual operations.
• Experience with enterprise AI or LLM platforms and APIs is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux server administration and cloud IAM.

Responsibilities

• Technical Architecture Authority and Platform Standards ownership across Alteryx, KNIME, cloud infra, and AI services.
• Hands-on administration of Alteryx Server and KNIME Server environments and related infrastructure.
• Design and implement platform integrations, SSO, security, and governance.
• Develop automation in Python and PowerShell for provisioning and operations.
• Own developer experience for LLM tooling and onboarding; mentor across teams.
