Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to act as the technical architecture authority for the platforms team, owning integration design, security standards and server administration across Alteryx, KNIME and cloud estate.

You will build production automation in Python and PowerShell, own developer experience for LLM tooling, and provide Tier 2 support during U.S. hours. Cross‑skills and mentorship with associates are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems or a related technical field.
• 3 years of experience in systems, platform or infrastructure engineering including server administration.
• Experience as a technical design authority for platform estates and automation.
• Experience supporting enterprise AI or LLM platforms and APIs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical architecture authority for the platforms team across Alteryx, KNIME, cloud infrastructure and AI platform services.
• Own hands-on administration and engineering of Alteryx Server and KNIME Server environments, including installation, configuration, scheduling, and upgrades.
• Design and implement platform integrations, SSO and access architecture, and security standards.
• Design, write and maintain production-grade automation in Python and PowerShell.
• Own developer experience and onboarding for LLM tooling, API keys and templates.
• Provide Tier 2 support during U.S. hours and manage vendor escalations.
• Flex into adjacent areas and mentor associates.
