Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to serve as the technical architecture authority for the platforms team, overseeing integration design, security standards, platform governance and server administration across analytics and cloud environments.

You will build production automation in Python and PowerShell, own onboarding for OpenAI and Claude tooling, and collaborate with identity, security and infrastructure teams to ensure robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems or related field.
• 3 years of experience in systems, platform or infrastructure engineering.
• Experience as a technical design authority for a platform estate.
• Experience with enterprise AI or LLM platforms and APIs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical architecture authority for the platforms team, owning reference architectures and platform standards.
• Administer Alteryx Server and KNIME Server environments, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.
• Design and maintain platform integrations, including SSO, SAML/OIDC and RBAC.
• Develop production automation in Python and PowerShell to reduce manual ops.
• Own developer experience and onboarding for LLM tooling and APIs (OpenAI, Claude).
• Provide Tier 2 support and coordinate vendor escalations with Alteryx, KNIME, cloud providers and AI platforms.
