Job summary

Oracle is seeking a senior platform leader in the United States to steer a platform group responsible for standardizing runtimes, APIs, and SDKs across multiple teams. You will govern security controls, drive cross-group interoperability, and sponsor resilience initiatives, scalability, and performance improvements.

You will communicate platform health and risk to executives and guide multi-team implementation and rollout strategies.

Responsibilities

• Define platform strategy for a group, aligning runtimes, SDKs, and integration frameworks to interoperable standards.
• Govern cross-group compatibility and security controls with SRE/security partners; approve high-risk migrations and deprecations.
• Own group-wide resilience and capacity objectives; institutionalize rollout, canary, and rollback patterns across services.
• Defines key elements for leads and/or teams to design multiple software solutions and identify requirements.
• Leads design and specification reviews to drive improvements across multiple projects/programs.
• Directs teams to implement API versioning, lifecycle, and interoperability strategies.
