Oracle in the United States is seeking a Lead Principal Software Developer for OCI Build, shaping architecture and long-term strategy for a critical developer infrastructure platform. You will lead distributed systems, guide senior engineers, and drive cross-group technical initiatives with a focus on scale, security, and developer productivity.

Qualifications

Experience architecting and operating large-scale distributed systems or cloud infrastructure.
Strong software engineering and system-design expertise with ownership of complex systems.
Ability to set technical direction across multiple teams while guiding critical design decisions.

Responsibilities

Define the technical vision, architecture, and multi-year evolution of OCI Build and its execution platform.
Architect scalable, secure, highly available systems to support OCI's build and software delivery needs.
Lead initiatives across build orchestration, Kubernetes and compute execution, artifact management, CI/CD, security, and software supply chain.
Mentor senior engineers and guide component designs toward simple, durable solutions.
Raise engineering standards across design, code quality, testing, observability, and security.
Communicate technical strategy and risks clearly to senior leadership.
