Job summary

HYPR, the Identity Assurance Company, is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead HYPR’s engineering organization and drive technology vision from our New York City headquarters. You will shape the platform strategy and execution while reporting to the CTO.

This hybrid role partners with product, design and management to deliver scalable services, mentor engineers, and cultivate ownership, accountability, and innovation across the team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with leadership.
• Experience delivering B2B client-centric services.
• Ability to solve deep technical challenges.
• Proven track record building high-functioning teams.
• Experience collaborating with product and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own responsibility for security, reliability and performance of HYPR’s product.
• Work with PM and Engineering Managers on roadmap and tech choices.
• Implement systems and processes to drive efficiency and quality.
• Foster collaboration across engineering, product design and management.
• Develop and expand talent through mentoring and retention strategies.
