Job summary

HYPR is seeking a Senior Software Engineer who cares deeply about building secure, high-quality software and solving meaningful problems. You will design, build, and operate core components of HYPR’s security platform: identity verification systems, large-scale distributed services, and security-focused infrastructure and workflows.

You’ll work in a high-bar team, pursue AI-native SDLC, research new technologies, implement automated testing, and contribute to standards like WebAuthn and OAuth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining enterprise web platforms.
• Expert knowledge of Java SE 21+ and Spring/Quarkus, Kubernetes, and cloud-first development.
• Experience with multi-region, scalable services and modern observability tools.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted software development and AI SDLC concepts.
• Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and clean, scalable code.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy SaaS services end-to-end.
• Be at the forefront of AI-native SDLC and integrate AI capabilities.
• Research new technologies to improve products and explore directions.
• Implement automated testing and collaborate with SDET(s).
• Engage with standards bodies and shape next-generation standards.
