Job summary

HYPR, the Identity Assurance Company, seeks a Senior Software Engineer in Test to craft high-quality test suites and shape testing practices across mobile, desktop, and SaaS platforms. You will collaborate with development teams to strengthen automated coverage, optimize environments, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines in a hybrid NYC setting.

The role emphasizes performance testing, microservices troubleshooting, and AI-enabled development workflows.

Qualifications

8+ years of automation experience.
Experience in a Continuous Delivery environment with CI/CD pipelines.
Interest in AI-assisted development workflows.
BDD/Selenium automation across mobile drivers, BrowserStack, or similar.
Leading end-to-end performance testing for a large-scale SaaS platform.
Troubleshooting and optimizing complex microservices to identify latency bottlenecks.
Experience testing SaaS platforms or distributed systems.
Experience with Git Flow and Jira/GitLab/Artifactory.

Responsibilities

Break up complex features into automatable tests and scalable testing solutions.
Test mobile and desktop apps, SaaS services, platform scalability and migrations.
Partner with engineering to enable CD pipelines with strong automated test coverage.
Learn new systems quickly and communicate challenges clearly.
Participate in the full development life cycle including requirements and code reviews.
Create and run performance test plans and automation scripts.
Examine performance results and document CPU, memory, and response metrics.
