Job summary

Gibson Dunn is seeking a Platform Engineer to build reusable internal platforms and self-service tooling that boost developer productivity across CI/CD, cloud, and AI workloads. You will ship code for the firm's internal developer platform and maintain tooling, infrastructure-as-code modules, and automation.

Working with senior engineers, you’ll deliver reliable, tested code and contribute to end-to-end ownership, including on-call duties and performance monitoring across platforms.

Qualifications

• Proficiency writing production-quality code in Go and Python, with PR-driven development.
• Experience building pipelines-as-code and automated tests.
• Hands-on IaC with Terraform, Ansible, Helm; GitOps experience.
• Cloud and container platforms experience (AWS/Azure, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain self-service tooling and templates for developers, in version-controlled code.
• Contribute features to the internal platform via PRs and reviews.
• Provide day-to-day developer support and triage platform issues.
• Enable AI workloads with standard platform patterns and governance.
