Rebar is building the AI operating system for commercial HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing. We seek a platform engineer to own the infrastructure powering Rebar. We run on EKS and AWS managed services, targeting SOC 2 Type II compliance and scalable, cost-efficient operations.

You will mentor teammates and gain deep visibility into production workloads, with opportunities to migrate components and refine cloud architecture as the company grows across North America.

Qualificações

• 6+ years in platform, infra or DevOps engineering.
• Experience with AWS services (ECS/Fargate, Lambdas, DynamoDB, SQS, Cognito).
• Kubernetes expertise in production environments.
• Strong Terraform and/or AWS CDK implementation in production.
• Proven CI/CD design and maintenance using GitHub Actions.
• Hands-on containerization with Docker and ECR.
• Experience operating distributed systems at scale.
• Proficiency in Go or Python for tooling and services.

Responsabilidades

• Drive performance across the full infra stack and app layer.
• Own SOC 2 infrastructure controls and compliance posture.
• Take observability fleet-wide and monitor production systems.
• Finish environment partitioning and isolation strategies.
• Optimize cloud spend and capacity planning.
• Own the cloud footprint and cost governance.
• Own production operations and incident response.
