Rebar, an AI operating system for construction data, is hiring a Software Engineer to own our data platform and analytics. You will design real-time data ingestion pipelines and surface insights for customers and internal teams.

This backend role focuses on migrations, schemas, and scalable data architecture, working with Postgres/Aurora. Onsite in New York’s Flatiron district, you’ll join a small, high-ownership team building the future of construction software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry software engineering experience.
• Experience with data intensive systems in production.
• Ideally you will have handled complex data migrations for active clients.
• Knowledge of various databases and indexes (Postgres/Aurora preferred).
• Experience justifying data architecture tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect real time data ingestion.
• Consolidate and cleanse our existing data architecture.
