Job summary

Rebar, an AI operating system for construction analytics, is hiring a Software Engineer to own our data platform and analytics. This is a backend/systems role focused on designing migrations, schemas, and pipelines for data read from dense construction plansets.

You will build real-time ingestion, cleanse data architectures, and enable developer velocity so other engineers can access and query data with ease. This onsite role is based in New York City.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry software engineering experience.
• experience with data intensive systems in productions
• ideally you will have handled complex data migrations for active clients
• knowledge of various databases and indexes (Postgres/Aurora preferred)
• experience justifying data architecture tradeoffs
