Job summary

Rebar is building an AI operating system for commercial HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing. We are hiring a Software Engineer to own our data platform and analytics, designing migrations, schemas, and pipelines for data extracted from dense construction plansets to surface insights for customers and internal teams.

You will craft real-time ingestion, cleanse messy data, and enable developer velocity while laying the foundation for agentic layers across services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry software engineering experience.
• Experience with data-intensive systems in production.
• Ideally you will have handled complex data migrations for active clients.
• Knowledge of databases and indexes (Postgres/Aurora preferred).
• Experience justifying data architecture tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect real time data ingestion.
