Job summary

Cube is hiring a Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain the core platform powering Cube’s cloud product. You will focus on reliability, scalability, performance, and developer productivity across infrastructure and internal platforms.

You’ll collaborate with Core and Platform engineers to ensure production efficiency, security, and a seamless experience for both internal teams and customers, while operating in a fully remote setup.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and container orchestration skills.
• Proficiency in Go, Rust or Python for platform development.
• Strong Linux internals knowledge and networking basics.
• Background in high-availability production systems and observability.

Responsibilities

• Designing and maintaining cloud-native infrastructure for a globally distributed analytics platform.
• Building internal platform tooling to improve developer velocity and deployment safety.
• Scaling multi-tenant systems with strict latency requirements.
• Improving reliability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery for the cloud platform.
• Operating Kubernetes-based environments and evolving deployment pipelines.
• Implementing monitoring, alerting, and incident response for a high-availability system.
