Plume's Cloud Platform team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help shape the future of our industry-leading platform. At our scale, every technical decision matters—you'll tackle complex distributed systems challenges daily, architecting solutions that power millions of connected devices worldwide.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in CS, EE or related field
• 4 years of production-quality coding experience
• Led complex cross-functional software projects
• Proficient in Java/Scala/Node.js/Rust
• Cloud-native architectures on AWS or GCP
• Strong algorithms and data structures knowledge
• Networking, OS and DB fundamentals
• Excellent communication for technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with Spark, Akka, or NestJS is a plus

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale cloud initiatives
• Write clean, well-documented code and drive quality via reviews
• Tackle scalability, integration, and architectural challenges at scale
• Own services lifecycle in Kubernetes from design to on-call
• Mentor engineers and grow the team
• Participate in rotating on-call responsibilities
