Job summary

Newfold Digital seeks a Senior Software Engineer – Platform Engineering to design, build, and maintain cloud-native platform capabilities on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The role focuses on deployment automation, cloud-native infrastructure, and developer productivity within a software engineering team.

You will enhance CI/CD pipelines, manage containerized apps with Docker/Kubernetes (OKE), and implement IaC using Terraform.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
2–5 years of software or platform engineering experience.
Hands-on OCI experience and Kubernetes (OKE) management.
CI/CD pipeline design using Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
Terraform for infrastructure as code and automation.
Strong Linux scripting and Python/Node.js for tooling.
Solid networking knowledge (DNS, load balancers, TLS).

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain cloud-native platform components on OCI.
Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, tests, and releases.
Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes (OKE).
Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and automation frameworks.
Improve deployment reliability with automated rollbacks and validation.
Collaborate with software teams to resolve production issues and improve stability.
Monitor health and performance with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, OpenTelemetry).
Implement cloud security, secrets management, and access controls.
Automate tasks with Python/Node.js/Bash; support releases and post-incident reviews.
Document platform architecture, standards, and runbooks.
