We hire accordingly.## What Your First Year Looks Like* Redesign the scan orchestration layer to move far more throughput on the same compute.* Ship the real-time event system behind Monitor alerts and score-change notifications.* Architect the multi-tenant data layer that isolates enterprise data while powering cross-account benchmarks.## What the Day-to-Day Feels Like* Design the systems behind every product: service boundaries, APIs, data pipelines, job orchestration* Hunt down the queries slowing the scan pipeline and pair with product engineers on your abstractions* Balance shipping fast with building things that last* Own observability, alerting, and incident response. When the platform is slow, you know why and you fix it* Build the abstractions that save the whole team a month of work* Stack: TypeScript, Next.js (App Router), Postgres (Neon), Drizzle ORM, Inngest, Vercel, LLM APIs## About You* You've built backend systems and infrastructure that run in production at real scale* You're strong in TypeScript/Node or Python, with production APIs and data pipelines in both* You diagnose database, query, and caching problems others can't see* You're the engineer who spots the system-level problem before it becomes a fire* You're in Miami or willing to relocate.
