Stand8 is seeking two Platform Engineers for a contract-to-hire role in Englewood, CO to design, build, and operate an internal developer platform. You will automate infrastructure, ship code, and empower teams with self-service workflows while focusing on automation, security, observability, reliability, and cost management.

This onsite role reports to the Head of Platform Engineering & AI. The ideal candidate will own IaC, CI/CD pipelines, security-first design, and FinOps practices while

Competenze

• Proficient in Python for automation and API interactions.
• Hands-on cloud (AWS or Azure) and containerized infra experience.
• Strong CI/CD design with modern identity-based deployments.
• IaC experience with Terraform or similar tools.
• Security, secrets management, and RBAC embedded in platforms.
• Cost awareness and FinOps mindset for cloud spend.
• Ability to expose performance metrics via APIs or dashboards.
• Experience partnering with developers to ship platform features.

Mansioni

• Build the internal developer platform (IDP) with self-service workflows.
• Automate provisioning and configuration with Terraform or equivalent.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
• Establish observability with monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerts.
• Create metrics endpoints and dashboards for cost and reliability insights.
• Integrate security controls, secrets management, and RBAC into the platform.
