Raytheon in Marlborough, MA, is seeking a Software Infrastructure Engineer to join the SPY-6 FoR Infrastructure Development/Integration Team. The role focuses on providing the OS framework, OS-level configurations, and integration across hardware platforms, primarily on RedHat Linux with networked systems.

Responsibilities include OS config, DevSecOps pipeline support, real-time software testing, tool development, and field operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with scripting languages (Perl, Python, Bash).
• Experience with Linux and configuration management tools such as ClearCase or Git.

Responsibilities

• Configure and install Operating Systems (RHEL).
• Configure and install Network Switches (Dell, Cisco, etc.).
• Configure and install other network devices to meet program requirements.
• Support and improve the DevSecOps pipeline with automation and test automation.
• Handle emergency situations that stop the pipeline and fix quickly.
• Collaborate with engineers of all levels in a team setting.
• Debug and fix stability issues in software baselines.
• Perform integration and testing of real-time embedded and application software on Linux.
• Maintain and enhance tooling infrastructure.
• Occasional travel to stakeholder sites.
