Job summary

CGI is seeking a Platform Engineer (DevOps) to design, build, and optimize cloud-native platforms for a Salt Lake City client. You will work with GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Docker, Helm, and Splunk/AppDynamics to accelerate delivery and improve security and reliability.

You will design and automate CI/CD pipelines, manage SCM, deploy IaC using Terraform, and support cloud-native microservices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 3+ years in Platform/DevOps/SRE roles in enterprise environments.
• Strong automation and programming experience with multiple languages and CI/CD tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize enterprise CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform to provision cloud infrastructure.
• Deploy and manage containerized apps with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Implement DevSecOps practices across the SDLC and monitor system health with Splunk/AppDynamics
