Job summary

System One seeks a Platform Engineer (DevOps) in Salt Lake City to design, build, and optimize enterprise CI/CD pipelines and IaC using Terraform. You will deploy containerized apps with Docker/Kubernetes, manage SCM workflows, and enforce DevSecOps practices.

Candidates should have 3+ years in related roles and strong scripting in multiple languages. The role focuses on cloud-native platforms, observability, and collaboration with engineers and stakeholders to deliver reliable enterprise

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline
• 3+ years of experience in Platform/DevOps/SRE roles
• Strong programming and automation in Java, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, Groovy, Bash, YAML, Perl, or Ruby
• Experience building microservices, REST APIs, and build automation with Maven/Gradle

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize enterprise CI/CD pipelines
• Manage SCM repos with robust branching, release management, and code integration
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform
• Deploy and support cloud-native microservices and REST APIs
• Manage containers with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
• Implement DevSecOps practices across the SDLC
• Monitor, log, and observe systems with Splunk/AppDynamics/Prometheus
