Job summary

CFA Institute seeks an experienced platform engineer to own the Atlassian ecosystem for ~1,200 staff. You’ll architect and administer Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and Jira Product Discovery, while guiding integrations with Salesforce, Workday, and Teams.

The role includes governance, automation, and mentoring junior admins to ensure reliable, scalable services. You’ll design workflows, manage licenses and audits, and document decisions to enable confident, scalable

Qualifications

Strong data analysis, statistics, and visualization basics.
Experience with Excel, SQL, and Python for data prep and reporting.
Ability to document architecture and communicate clearly.
Familiarity with AI tools like Co-Pilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor.

Responsibilities

Own Atlassian Cloud architecture for Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and Jira Product Discovery.
Design scalable workflows, permissions, queues, SLAs, and customer portals.
Manage integrations with Salesforce, Workday, Teams, and Copilot.
Monitor health, resolve failures, and document decisions for governance.
Mentor junior admins and lead knowledge management efforts.
