Job summary

Aristocrat is seeking a highly experienced IT professional to join the Level 4 CXS Development team. You will resolve customer software issues during upgrades, collaborate with Architects and Product Management to align on solutions, and work with developers and support teams to address software concerns.

You will build documentation for ongoing development and ensure adherence to programming standards while delivering team-focused support. Some travel and after-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field with 8+ years IT experience.
• Proven experience in Technical Support or equivalent: 5+ years.
• Proficiency in Networking, multicast, TCP/IP communications.
• Strong Unix/Linux OS skills.
• Comfort with scripting in PowerShell and Ansible playbooks.
• Experience with SQL (SQL Server/MySQL).
• Hands-on experience with Git, Jenkins, Kubernetes.
• Experience using AI tools and agentic AI knowledge a plus.
• Java/J2EE knowledge a plus.
• Knowledge of OneLink product preferred.
• Familiar with VMware/Hyper-V provisioning/deployment.
• Familiar with various web architectures, platforms, and frameworks.
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Must be licensed in multiple jurisdictions and able to travel for customer sites.
• Available for after-hours support.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Customer Success to resolve software issues during upgrades or reported problems.
• Work with Architects and Product Management to ensure alignment on solutions.
• Coordinate with developers, support, and installation teams on software concerns.
• Build documents to support development and share insights with the team.
• Adhere to company programming standards and focus on team success.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
