Job summary

Wellmark, Inc. is seeking a Platform Engineer to support the Digital Workforce & BI Tools teams. You will lead enterprise AI and automation initiatives, partner with citizen engineers, business leaders, and technology teams to drive measurable business value.

You will maintain deep knowledge of the Microsoft 365 platform including Copilot, Power Platform, Fabric, and emerging AI capabilities, guiding adoption, governance, and risk management across Wellmark.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or direct and applicable work experience.
Minimum 7 years of experience including development (NodeJS, TypeScript, C#, .NET, SQL).
Minimum 4 years in IT infrastructure, architecture design, operations.
Proven ability to adapt to major changes in work tasks or environment.
Informal leadership experience from leading projects.
Experience mentoring others and providing guidance to build skills.
Experience designing technical architectures and evaluating technologies.
Experience consulting with stakeholders to understand needs and advise.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical designs for highly integrated, complex platforms to optimize security, information leverage, reuse, integration, performance and availability.
Collaborate with Solution Architects to design effective technology solutions and drive improvements.
Oversee planning, development and estimation of technical solutions; coordinate with other technical teams as needed.
Provide insights to stakeholders and guide process improvements across domains.
Ensure architectures align with governance, security, and organizational standards.
